For IEN, the Summit response marks an important moment for Nepal’s inclusion movement.
“The number of registrations demonstrates that Nepal is ready for a stronger and more coordinated conversation on autism inclusion. The Summit is not an end in itself, but a starting point for building greater understanding, stronger systems and more inclusive opportunities for autistic people across Nepal.”
With more than 300 participants registered, the First Nepal Autism Summit is expected to provide an important platform to connect people and organizations, amplify voices, and identify practical pathways toward a more inclusive Nepal. The conversation on autism inclusion in Nepal is growing. The next step is turning that conversation into action.
